Her passion for painting appeared at a very young age and became very strong after watching local famous artist work at the gallery, who specialized in painting on wood and wooden surfaces. Up to this point Anastasija tried various painting techniques, therefore when she suddenly discovered painting on wood, she fell in love in the process itself unconditionally and forever.

There is no other material, than wood, bearing such a high emotional energy. Being an active member of the creative process, wood takes the most of the artist in and breathes out, spreading it out to the audience and adding the charm to the painting.
